Eva joined Sensius in April 2025 after approaching the field of thermotherapy via basic and clinical research positions. After studying physics in Karlsruhe (Germany) and Grenoble (France), she gained research experience in electromagnetic field simulations and measurement in the context of MR safety and compatibility of passive implants at ultrahigh magnetic fields (7 T) in Berlin (Germany). On the search for clinical impact, Eva shifted her research towards the numerical development of an integrated radiofrequency applicator supporting diagnosis, thermotherapy and MR thermometry in the treatment of brain tumors for her PhD. After joining the hyperthermia group at Charité Universitätsmedizin Berlin allowed Eva to gain insight into the reality and needs of clinical thermotherapy applications. Eva holds an M.Sc. in engineering (ingénieur diplômé) and a diploma (Dipl.-Phys.) and PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in Physics.
Henry studied electrical engineering at University of Applied sciences Amsterdam and Business Administration at University of Applied Sciences Rotterdam.
Over the years he grew from designing software and electronics himself into a project leader of large multidisciplinary development projects for a variety of markets (laboratory, medical, agro, semiconductor). His interest in ‘how things work’ as a child developed into a deep passion for complex techniques and focus on the application. After working for several companies, he founded R2Pro in 2008. R2Pro is a product development company.
Within Sensius Henry is responsible for the project management of the development of both the hardware and software of the Focus product family.
Denise has been working as a Medical User Experience (UX) Researcher and Designer for R2Pro | Product Development for almost 5 years. Within this capacity, she started working for Sensius in 2021.
As a Medical UX researcher Denise maps out what users – patients, nurses, physicians and other health care providers - want from a product and translates these many different opinions and wishes into one clear list of requirements. Not from the technical side, but from the human side. Next to this, as a QA / RA manager she maps out and manages activities from a regulatory point of view. Thus making sure that a developed product is safe, performs well and answers the real users’ needs.
Denise has a MSc degree in Industrial Design Engineering, with a specialization in Medical Design, from Delft University of Technology, The Netherlands.
